The Precision Bass has been booming ever since - six decades later, it's still liberating musicians, still the worldwide standard and still the first word in electric bass. Features include: a figured ash body, maple neck and fretboard with modern 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, vintage Precision Bass split single-coil pickup, a high-mass vintage bridge, and a Blackguard Blonde thin-skin lacquer finish! To further distinguish it as a special instrument created for the occasion, the 60th Anniversary Precision Bass bears a commemorative chrome neck plate honoring six decades of enduring Fender legacy. Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, this piece will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition – this one shows just some light surface scratches, nicks, and scuffs, along with some wear on the pickguard and some chipping on the top of the pickguard from truss rod adjustments.
Neck: Rounded maple neck with maple fingerboard & black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with almost no wear. Modern F-logo tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in blonde finish. String-thru bridge with "barrel" saddles. Single-ply, large black pickguard shows some pick scratches, but no cracks. Bass weighs a very comfortable 8 lb, 10 oz.
Pickup: P-Bass split single coil - 10.24K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with accessories.
