What makes this bass special: This gorgeous bass was part of Fender Custom Shop's 2011 Roadshow Limited Edition series & is certified #1. It features a Relic Candy Apple Red finish on a premium lightweight ash body. A one-piece, straight grain, maple neck with a fat U-shape profile. Super comfortable to play with a wonderful resonance. The bass has been professionally set up by with low action. Rich, warm tone with superb sustain. A definite must have for anyone into unique Custom Shop pieces.
Cosmetic Condition: The bass was purposely "aged" at the factory to give it that worn, vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking, finish wear & aged hardware.
Neck: One-piece, straight grain, maple neck with 1951 P-Bass "U" back shape & 7.25" fingerboard radius. Black dot inlays & vintage style frets. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Vintage style "paddle" tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Premium lightweight, solid ash body finished in Candy Apple Red. String-thru bridge with two adjustable barrel saddles & bridge cover. Gold anodized pickguard with black finger-rest. Bass weighs 9 lbs .2 oz.
Pickup: Custom Shop Vintage 50's P-Bass single coil with cover. 6.69K ohm output. Master volume & tone controls with knurled dome knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original deluxe hardshell case included along with two Certificates of Authenticity & case candy.
