What makes this guitar special: This is a clean and simple modded SG Melody Maker. The original bridge pickup was swapped out for a Guitar Fetish Dream 90 (humbucker-sized P-90) that suits this guitar very well. Its response is nice and clean with pleasant jangle and chime, yet takes very well to overdrive and distortion with a crunchy and crisp breakup. Everything else is pretty straight-forward Gibson SG Melody Maker with its light, slim body, easy-playing neck, and good body to neck weight ratio.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, and scratches, but largely remains very clean and still looks fantastic for a used guitar. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured body in Black finish. Replaced 3-ply white pickguard. Wrap around stop bar tailpiece. Black top hat control knob.
Neck: Medium depth C shape mahogany neck and baked maple fingerboard with white dot inlays. Vintage-style Kluson Deluxe tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 24 ½” scale.
Electronics: Guitar Fetish Dream 90 humbucker-sized P-90 in the bridge. 1 x master volume control.

Playability/Sound: The neck is comfortable, familiar, and easy-playing head to toe. The Dream 90 in the bridge has a ton of chime and jangle, with great-sounding clean tones that take well to overdrive.
