What makes this guitar special: A limited edition John Lennon model with great playability, and a cool sunburst finish. This piece plays nicely up and down the neck, and has more tonal character than expected at its price point. The single coil pickup in tandem with the under-saddle pickup provide some nice tonal variance, and sound fantastic blended as well. This piece has been professionally setup and inspected by our in-house luthier, so it plays and sound terrific.
Cosmetic condition: Very good overall condition, with some visible surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents visible throughout the instrument, but nothing that in any way affects playability.
Body: Double bound mahogany body with solid spruce top in sunburst finish with ebony bridge and two-ring rosette, along with John Lennon signature above the fretboard.
Weight: 4lb, 13.5oz
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with black side dots and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and frets are in good shape too, with some minor fretwear in the first position but a ton of life left in them overall. 1 11/16” nut width, and 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight and plays nicely up and down the fingerboard.
Electronics: Single coil neck pickup with dual vintage style knobs.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
