Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a super clean HSS Stratocaster in a great throwback finish. The Fat ‘50s single-coils still possess all the classic Strat characteristics, but with a bit warmer and slightly smoother response across the board minus the Diamondback in the bridge, which boasts a bit more body and bite than the standard single-coil. Everything else is pretty straight-forward for an American Strat, so it plays, sounds, and feels as nice as the next, but is also super clean and comes with a soild in-house setup so it plays great right out of the case.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only a few minor dings, mostly in the back, and light surface scratches throughout, but is still in fantastic condition for a used guitar. The frets show only very light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured body in Sienna Sunburst finish. 3-ply white pickguard. Aged white top hat control knobs. Vintage-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles.
Neck: Modern C shape maple neck and 9.5” radius maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” nut width.
Electronics: Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s Single-Coil Strat pickups in the neck and middle, Fender Diamondback Humbucker in the bridge. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.
Weight: 8 lbs 8.9 oz
Playability/Sound: The modern C shape neck plays as easy as any and should be familiar and comfortable to a wide variety of players. The Custom Shop Fat ‘50s sound great with classic single-coil Strat response with a bit more warmth and slightly less pronounced mid-range (barring the 4th position), while the Diamondback provides extra crisp bite with a bit more body than a standard single coil.
Case: Includes hardshell case.
