What makes this guitar special: What doesn’t make this guitar special? This is the absolute pinnacle of over-engineered guitars. Every single imaginable feature is accounted for, in a premium package that is lightweight, well-balanced, and insanely comfortable to play. Boasting over 2,000 unique sounds and an array of onboard effects so large it will make your head spin, the fun had dialing in the different tones and sounds on this guitar is reason enough to buy it.
Here’s a quick overview of the electronics:
-Three tog-pots control the onboard effects:
Blue: Modulation, Echo, and Reverb
Red: Compression, Distortion, and EQ
Silver: Pickup configuration (Pickups, Piezo, and Tuner)
All of the tog-pots can be fine-tuned via micro sliders on top of the guitar.
The illuminated Gear Shift Knob is the mothership of the electronics assembly. In tandem with the 5-way switch, you can cycle between countless effects such as analog and digital delay ,reverse, phasing, and numerous distortion settings. There’s even a built in 10 second loop!
This guitar comes with the Bluetooth connected modular controller, charging station and two batteries for the onboard effects. The optional foot pedal accessory is not included, but this doesn’t disallow you from using any of the awesome effects or features on the guitar. As with all our pieces, this one has been professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the original case.
Cosmetic condition: Great overall shape! There are a handful of surface and playwear scratches throughout the instrument, with some very mild surface level buckle rash and negligible pickwear. There is also one very small chip in the finish on the back of the guitar near the input jack. Cosmetically, this guitar is a 9/10.
Body: Solid swamp ash body in blue “bluevolution” swirl finish with Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 8 lb, 6.4 oz
Neck: C-shaped solid maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays with “X” inlay at 5th fret. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Blue swirl headstock overlay with silver Gibson logo and silver engraved truss rod cover. Original Robotuners function great. Curly maple fingerboard is in awesome shape, and frets show almost no wear at all. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the length of the fingerboard.
Electronics: Triple mini-humbuckers and piezo pickup with 5-way pickup selector switch, gear shift knob, 3 tog-pots, fine tune sliders, and knurled knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original zippered soft shell case included, with battery charger, dual battery backpacks, and modular controller.
