What makes this guitar special: A stunning recreation of one of the strangest and sought after Gibsons ever rumored to exist, the Moderne is a sight to behold. The unorthodox body design falls somewhere between a V and an Explorer, with superb resonance thanks to the solid mahogany construction. Like the original reissues, these were made in limited numbers and don’t come up for sale very often. Don’t miss out on this one! A professional setup is included, so all you’ll have to do is tune it.
Cosmetic condition: Terrific shape, with some very light surface and handling scratches visible under direct lighting.
Body: Offset mahogany body with gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold stopbar tailpiece. Black pickup bezels and 5-ply black pickguard.
Weight: 7 lb, 5 oz
Neck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. 24 3/4" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape and frets show no wear. Offset V headstock with black overlay, gold Gibson logo and Moderne truss rod cover. Gibson Deluxe tuners work perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod is fully functional.
Electronics: ’57 Classic humbuckers (Neck-7.76k ohms, Bridge-7.77k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black speed knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
