Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is tom Armstrong’s signature Grestch Electromatic and it comes in a very unique and one-of-a-kind Man Salmon finish. This model has parallel tone bars and a sound post mounted under the top. This combined with a pair of Black Top Filter’tron pickups produces a big, full-bodied sound with plenty of sustain and definition. Other features include a Bigsby tailpiece, all-gold hardware, bound fingerboard and pearloid block inlays.
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches throughout the finish and a few small impact dings/dents or chips on the back. The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound single-cutaway body with maple top, back and sides in man salmon finish. Bigsby tailpiece and a rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge. Gretsch Arrow control knobs and a dual bound f-holes.
Neck: Super comfortable neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid block inlays, a zero-fret and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with Grover tuners, 24.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Black Top Filter’tron pickups in the neck and bridge. Dual volume and tone controls, a master volume control and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 4.11K Ohms.
Bridge: 4.23K Ohms.
