Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a great sounding Gretsch with a whole lot of classic tone and without a heavy price tag. Between the great action, easy neck shape, and light body, this guitar is very easy to play. It’s not only satisfying to have its big bellowing body resonate acoustically, but plugging it in sounds even better with the Dual-Coil pickups providing a healthy dose of fullness and warmth with the classic Gretsch hot chime that makes them so distinct. The White finish is considerably easier than most to keep clean, but also has a very subtle but slick look when paired with silver, chrome, and rosewood. In addition, it’s very clean and provides more value than most electrics at this price tag, especially with a Bigsby.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. Outside of some small dings and dents and light scratches here and there, this guitar is very clean and looks fantastic. It does have a bit of the classic Gretsch acoustic “rattle” but does not affect the amplified tone or playability. The frets show very little wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.
