Description
What makes this guitar special: A super clean piece with excellent tonal balance and clarity. Excellent fit and finish, with gorgeous Ovangkol back and sides allowing this guitar to look as great as it sounds. The rounded neck profile is wildly comfortable, allowing easy chording and lead lines up and down the length of the ebony fingerboard. It comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, so it plays and sounds terrific.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent shape-a few surface and playwear scratches present, as well as some nominal pickwear on the front. Frets show some light wear in the first position, and there is some light cracking in the finish around the end pin.
Body: Double bound solid Ovangkol back and sides with solid Sitka spruce top in natural finish with 3-ring ivoroid rosette and ivoroid purfling. Ebony bridge and pearl inlaid bridge pins. Lower bout width measures 16” across with 4 1/2" depth, upper bout width measures 11 1/2" across with 4” depth.
Weight: 4lb, 14.8oz
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with double bound ebony fingerboard, black side dots, and pearl dot inlays. 1 3/4' nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Frets are in good shape, and show only light wear in the first position. Chrome sealed Taylor tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
