What makes this guitar special? This is an incredibly resonant acoustic with top notch appointments and an undeniably classic look. The tone starts with a responsive low end that naturally compresses a bit when the volume ceiling is approached and extends through a slightly subdued midrange. The top end is incredibly clean and articulate with a warm chime. The Vintage Sunburst finish looks fantastic, especially when contrasted by abalone inlays throughout the body, neck, and headstock, and the cuts of rosewood used for the back and sides are beautifully figured on all accounts. This is a wonderfully responsive guitar with an easy playing neck and a sound just about anyone could love.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess various light scratches and small dings throughout the body and neck from being played, but otherwise is in great shape and it shows. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Slope shouldered body with Indian rosewood back and sides and cream-bound Sitka spruce top in hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer Vintage Sunburst finish. Abalone rosette. Traditional belly-up rosewood bridge with compensated tusq saddle and custom abalone inlays. Tortoise teardrop pickguard.
Neck: SlimTaper mahogany neck and 12” radius bound rosewood fingerboard with abalone split diamond inlays. Abalone headstock inlay. 1.725” bone nut. 24 ¾” scale length. Grover Rotomatic tuning machines.
Electronics: L.R. Baggs Element pickup system with soundhole volume control.

Playability/Sound: The SlimTaper profile of the neck is extremely easy to move around and is an easy transition from electric. Between the body shape and tone woods, this guitar is able to produce excellent low end response that compresses when the volume ceiling is approached. The mid-range is pleasantly subdued and the high-end has excellent articulation with warm chime.
