What makes this guitar special: Straightforward but chock-full of solid tone and excellent playability, this D-16GT is a simple guitar with a lot of power. Its mahogany back and sides combined with its dreadnought body make for a rich and responsive midrange that extends down into a compressed low end and super clean and crisp high end. It is incredibly light for its build, weighing in at just over four pounds, making it as easy to play standing as it is sitting. It features a slick gloss top to give it as much shimmer in look as it has in tone, which is accentuated by the fact this it is still in stellar condition for a used guitar, and shows only very light signs of wear. It also includes a hardshell case and a pro setup, which only adds to its already great value.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall, if not better. It shows very few signs of wear outside of some light pick scratching on the pickguard and a few other various light surface scratches, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a used guitar. It even still has the original plastic on the pickguard. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have an absolute ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double bound dreadnought body with mahogany back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top in Natural. Three-ring rosette with a herringbone center. Tortoiseshell teardrop pickguard. Micarta bridge with a compensated tusq saddle. White plastic bridge pins with black dots.
Neck: Medium depth soft V shaped select hardwood neck and micarta fingerboard with dot inlays. Chrome sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.4” scale length. .83” deep at the 1st fret and 1.08” at the 12th.

Playability/Sound: The super soft V shape has a great in-hand feel, especially in the first few positions for chording, but softens further up the neck to make runs just as easy. This body style and tone wood combo is quite expressive in the mids and top end with a surprising amount of output.
