What makes this guitar special: This is an awesome playing American Deluxe Stratocaster from top to bottom. Including many features catered to more modern players, the Deluxe incorporates the classic look and feel of the traditional Stratocaster, such as the Soft V profile neck, and adds a sculpted heel for maximum playability in the highest registers, Noiseless N3 pickups, and the S-1 switch that opens up a wealth of additional pickup and tonal combinations. This extremely versatile guitar is still in great shape for a used instrument, comes with its original hardshell case, and a professional setup so all you have to do is pull it out of the case and tune it up.
Condition: This guitar is in very good, if not better, condition. It does show some light surface scratches, and a few minor chips and dings, but is very clean for a used instrument. The frets show very light fret wear and have tons of playing life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured ash body in Fiesta Red. 3-ply mint green pickguard. Aged white top hat knobs and pickup covers. Two Point Deluxe synchronized tremolo bridge. 3-ply aged mint green back plate.
Neck: Soft V shape Maple neck (.87” at the 1st fret, .90” at the 12th fret). 22 fret compound radius maple fingerboard with black pearl dot inlays and black side dots. Chrome Fender Deluxe locking tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length.
Electronics: Fender Noiseless N3 single coil pickups. Master volume and dual tone controls. 5-way pickup selector switch. Fender S-1 Switch on the volume control.
Weight: 7 lbs. 15.4 oz.
Playability/Sound: The soft V shaped neck is very comfortable to hold and has a fairly similar feel thickness-wise to Fender’s C shaped necks . The noiseless pickups capture the classic Stratocaster sound and none of the hum, with plenty of punch and a strong emphasis on the midrange. The inclusion of the S-1 switch opens up a wealth of additional pickup and tonal combinations, making this one incredibly versatile instrument.
Case: Includes original hard shell case. Case has "Newton" scratched into the side.
