Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a pretty straight-forward American Standard Strat with Tex Mex pickups and a few aesthetic qualities that set it apart from others. The pickups themselves are a nice separation from the standard set that usually comes equipped in American Standards. They boast a little extra warmth in the neck, and nice round middle, and a bright and spanky bridge that shows its bite with a little extra twangy attack. The rosewood fingerboard is absolutely gorgeous on this guitar and shows excellent variation in color throughout. The neck is familiar, comfortable, and easy, the body is largely clean, and with the setup our techs have given it, it plays beautifully from head to toe.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It only shows various small dings, dents, and light scratches outside of one area on the back with a deeper scratch and accompanying small chip, but otherwise is very clean and still looks great. The frets show no wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
