What’s special about this guitar: This is a relatively new and highly innovative design from Fender. The American Deluxe Stratocaster Plus features an electronics system designed for quickly and easily “modding” the guitars tone. Fender utilizes “Personality Cards” which pop in and out of the guitar via a compartment on the back to instantly give the guitar a different sound depending on the card used. Other features include a maple neck with a modern “C” shaped profile, N3 Noiseless Pickups and an awesome looking ice blue metallic finish.
Condition: Excellent, near mint condition! There are just a few very light surface scratches throughout the guitar; mostly on the pickguard and a few tiny dings on the back. The guitar otherwise looks un-played! The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in ice blue metallic finish. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles and a trem arm. Skirted aged white control knobs and a 3-ply mint green pickguard and back cover plate. The personality card dock is located on the back.
Neck: Modern “C’ shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment at the neck heel. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Locking fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Noiseless N3 Single-Coil Strat pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch. Special electronics include all solderless wiring with a “Personality Card” dock on the back to instantly change the guitar’s sound.
