What makes this guitar special: A Les Paul designed and built with the player in mind, the Axcess was created to do it all. The specially designed neck joint eliminates the hindrance of the standard neck heel, affording effortless access to all 22 frets of the fingerboard, which works beautifully in tandem with the factory installed Floyd Rose tremolo system. Beyond that, you’ve got the piping hot 490R & 498T exposed coil humbuckers-which affords all kinds of tonal variance thanks to a pair of individual push-pull coil taps. A modern weight relieved body makes it perfect for long nights of playing, too. With a professional setup from Cream City Music’s top notch luthiers included, all you have to worry about is tuning it.
Cosmetic condition: Superb condition-a handful of small surface scratches, dings, and dents visible under direct lighting, along with a single dent on the back of the neck behind the 5th fret.
Body: Solid contoured mahogany body with bound maple cap in iced tea sunburst finish. Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge system. Cream colored pickup bezels.
Weight: 7 lb, 12 oz
Neck: Semi chunky mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” locking nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Bound rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show no wear. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo. Single ring Gibson Deluxe tuners are in terrific shape. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: 490R & 498T humbuckers with push-pull coil taps, 3-way pickup selector switch, and gold tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included, along with Certificate of Authenticity and tremolo arm.
