What makes this guitar special: This is the very cool Gretsch G6136TBK black Falcon. This is top of the line pro series Gretsch material and it does not disappoint in looks or sound. Upgraded with a set of TV Jones FilterTrons with fantastic tone that achieves authentic Gretsch character, “That Great Gretsch Sound.” They have a warm woody tone with great note definition, big round bass response and very clean and articulate high end. The Falcon features a jumbo 17” body fully bound with gold sparkle. Even the F-Holes are double bound with gold sparkle! The neck profile is a sleek medium oval that has a great feel to it without being too thick or thin. This beauty comes with a deluxe Gretsch hard case, and the original Certificate of Authenticity.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape! Some light surface scratches, dings, and marks from handling throughout, along with some minor pickwear on the guard. The hardware shows some minor tarnishing, and the frets have some very slight wear.
Body: Gold-sparkle bound semi-hollow maple body with dual bound f-holes. Gold Falcon pickguard. Space roller bridge with floating ebony base, and gold Bigsby tremolo tailpiece.

Neck: Medium oval maple neck with black side dots and neo-classic pearl thumbnail inlays. Gold-sparkle bound ebony fingerboard is in awesome shape, and frets show only very light wear with a ton of life left. 1 11/16” nut width, 24.6” scale length. Bound headstock with gold sparkle Gretsch logo, Black Falcon badge, and gold sparkle truss rod cover. Grover Imperial tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Upgraded TV Jones Classic humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector switch, and 3-way tone selector switch. Ruby-inlaid G-Arrow knobs, 2x individual volume, 1x master volume. All electronics have been tested and work great.
Case: Original hard shell case included, along with Certificate of Authenticity.
