Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a solid American Standard Telecaster with a replaced pickguard that gives it a more defined look. The Custom Shop and Twisted Tele single-coils sound fantastic and truly embody the classic Telecaster sound with ease. The neck is warm and round with a slightly subdued mid-range and the bridge has a ton of twang, chime, and jangle. The neck is as easy as any to play and the frets show almost no wear whatsoever. The guitar as a whole is largely clean, with only a few marks here and there, but is otherwise in great shape and should have no problem finding a good home.
Condition: This Telecaster is in very good condition overall, if not better. It shows only minor dings, dents, nicks, scuffs, and light scratches, plus one larger scratch in the back, but is otherwise in great shape for a used guitar. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway contoured alder body in Black finish. Unoriginal 3-ply silver paisley pickguard. Chrome plate bridge with vintage-style adjustable saddles. Knurled chrome control knobs.
Neck: Modern C maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Sealed chrome tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale.
Electronics: Custom Shop “Twisted” single-coil Tele pickup in the neck and Custom Shop Vintage-Style Tele pickup in the bridge. 1 x master volume, 1 x master tone. 3-way pickup selector.
Weight: 7 lbs 12.6 oz
Playability/Sound: The modern C shape should be comfortable and familiar to a wide variety of players. The pickups in this guitar are exactly what you’d expect out of a solidly-made American Telecaster. The neck is warm and round with a subtle mid-range dip, while the bridge is bright and full of twang and jangle.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
