Description

What makes this guitar special: With a look of tenure and playability that feels like a broken-in favorite, this Road Worn 50s Strat has as much character in look as it does in tone. It comes loaded with three Tex-Mex single-coils that take the standard set and give them a bit of a twist with a warmer neck response, a more crisp bridge, and some added output to boot. The neck, a soft V shape, plays easier than most thanks to its road worn finish that has less friction than gloss finishes. In addition, it’s already broken in from the factory AND the previous owner, so you won’t have to worry about putting your first marks in it. Someone else has already done it for you.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. Outside of the simulated aging and wear, it shows only a few various nicks, dings, chips, and scratches, but is still in fantastic shape, even for a Road Worn. The frets show no wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in road worn 2-Tone Sunburst finish. Single-ply white pickguard. Vintage-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge. Aged white top hat control knobs and pickup covers.

Neck: Soft V shape road worn maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale. Heel-adjust truss rod. .87” deep at the 1st fret and .90” deep at the 12th.

Electronics: Tex-Mex single-coil pickups. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 13.9 oz

Playability/Sound: The soft V neck is super comfortable and softens up its shape further up the neck so it plays as great with chords as it does leads. The Tex-Mex pickups have all the familiar aspects of Strat tone, yet boast a warmer neck and more crisp bridge, all with a touch more output than the standards.

Case: Includes Fender gigbag and tremolo arm.
