Description
What makes this guitar special: Designed with classic American West Coast style, this is one of the most distinct models in the Godin line. Similar to many other Godin guitars, it features a chambered maple body that gives it a bit of semi-hollow body feel in terms of its sound and overall resonance. It comes loaded with two Lace Alumitone humbuckers which are big and chunky with excellent upper-midrange jangle and crisp top end bite, giving it great tonal character across the board. Its neck is as playable as any, with a slim, satin-finished C shape that is very easy to move around and should be comfortable to a wide variety of players. Plus, it’s still super clean for a used guitar and comes with a professional setup so it plays great the moment you pick it up.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows very few signs of wear outside of a few minor dings and light surface scratches here and there and is in fantastic shape for a used guitar. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway chambered silver leaf maple body with poplar wings in Cherry Sunburst finish. Single-ply white pickguard. Fixed bridge with adjustable roller saddles and a bar tailpiece. Single-ply bound back. Black top hat control knobs with silver inserts.
Neck: Slim D shape rock maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Vintage style tuning machines. 1 5/8” nut width. 25.5” scale. .79” deep at the 1st fret and .87” deep at the 12th.
Electronics: Lace Alumitone humbuckers. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 4-way pickup selector (position 1 is neck & bridge in series).
