What makes this guitar special: The most affordable Taylor on the market, the 214ce offers clarity and projection in a budget-friendly package. The solid spruce top ensures the same resonance and crisp tonal balance that other Taylors offer, while the highly figured laminated rosewood back and sides add a nice visual flare. This piece comes stock with the same Taylor Expression pickup system as the high-end models, and sounds absolutely great plugged in. It comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent condition-some surface and playwear scratches visible, along with a few small dents, dings, and scuffs.
Body: Double bound laminated rosewood back and sides with solid spruce top in natural finish. Ebony bridge with white bridge pins, tortoise pickguard, and multi-ring white rosette.
Weight: 4 lb, 13.1 oz
Neck: Rounded multi-ply mahogany neck with gray side dots and white dot inlays. Ebony fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show almost no wear at all. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight and plays nicely up and down the fingerboard. Headstock features an Indian Rosewood overlay and chrome-sealed tuners in perfect working condition.
