What makes this guitar special: A masterful revamping of the traditional Jazz Bass, this American Elite takes its tonal range to the next level. Aesthetically, it shows a few upgrades here and there such as it’s figured black block inlays, but otherwise largely retains the classic J-Bass look. Tonally, however, it boasts upgrades abound. It features a pair of Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups, an active circuit, and an extensive EQ including bass, mids, and treble boost and cut controls, all of which combine to provide a versatile range of sounds. The compound neck shape is another great addition and plays near-effortlessly from head to toe. Plus, this bass is still in stellar condition, comes with its original hardshell case and case candy, as well as a professional setup so its ready to roll right out of the case.
Condition: This bass is in excellent condition overall. It shows only a few minor dings and some mild pickguard scratching and light scratches throughout, but is still in great shape for a used bass. It even has the original pickguard sticker and the original plastic on the back plate. The frets show very little wear and still have a lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Neck: Compound Modern “C” to “D” shape maple neck and 9.5”-14” compound radius bound maple fingerboard with figured black block inlays. Fender “F” lightweight vintage-style paddle keys. 1.875” nut width. 34” scale. .84” deep at the 1st fret and .93” deep at the 12th.
Electronics: 4th Generation Noiseless pickups. 1 x master volume, 1 x pan pot/pickup selector, 1 x treble boost/cut, 1 x midrange boost/cut, 1 x bass boost/cut control. 1 x active/passive mini-toggle switch.

Playability/Sound: The compound neck shape is incredibly easy to move around, especially for a 5-string. The pickups provide a ton of classic J-Bass tone in the passive mode, but provide exceptional range with the addition of the active EQ.
