What Makes This Guitar Special: What an awesome package. The ’72 Reissue Tele is just an unbelievable amount of guitar for this price point. Here we have a wonderful recreation of a classic Fender that brought a host of features to a design that had hardly been updated since its inception. Wide field humbuckers, semi hollow construction, and a super cool pearloid pickguard took this model places the original model had never been. With a period correct 7.25” fingerboard radius, a great feeling neck, and all the vibe the originals had to offer- this is just a smoking deal. Cosmetic Condition: There are some very minor imperfections in the clear coat over the fingerboard between the last three frets. While curing, the finish settled slightly unevenly in this small area and the guitar left the factory this way (see photos.) This guitar is very clean besides, plays great, and would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
Neck: “U” shaped one piece maple. Black inlays and black side dot markers. The vintage-style tuners are in perfect working order, single string tree, and the 21 frets show no wear. 1.650” nut width, 25.5” scale length. The neck is straight and the truss rod has been evaluated and is in proper working order.
Body: Semi hollow ash. Pearloid pickguard and chrome string thru bridge. Guitar weighs 7lbs 3.3oz.
Electronics: Dual Wide Field humbuckers measure 7.85K ohms at the neck and 8.04K ohms in the bridge position. Single volume and tone controls with chrome knurled knobs, three way pickup selector switch. All electronics have been tested and working perfectly.
