Catalinbread SFT V2 Bass Overdrive Pedal keeps the same proven AMPEG-inspired drive circuit but updates the look with a more era-correct visual nod. The gray and blue colorway is still here, but now paired with an Ampeg-style basket weave design across the face, which really ties the whole concept together. If you are into classic amp aesthetics and want your pedalboard to reflect that, this version feels a bit closer to the source it is pulling from.
The SFT is built around the feel and response of vintage Ampeg-style circuits, with a tone stack influenced by Baxandall EQ design. That gives you highly interactive Bass and Treble controls that behave more like an amp than a typical overdrive.
