Description
If you own a guitar equipped with single-coil pickups, an improperly shielded bass, or an otherwise noisy electric instrument, you know how annoying 60-cycle hum and unwanted buzzing can be. That's why Darkglass developed the NSG noise gate pedal, a powerful tool that filters unwanted hisses, spats, and sputters from your signal. No more do you have to settle for noisy recordings and ear-splitting sounds during live performances - just plug into this stompbox, turn it on, and you'll have a crisp, clear, hum-free signal.
The NSG features an intuitive one-knob interface that makes it easy to use, even for new players. The single Threshold knob adjusts the point at where the noise gate activates, and it has a range of -65 dBV to -30 dBV in Soft mode. Push the knob, and the NSG will enter Hard mode, where the threshold range goes from -45 dBV to +5dBV. This wide dynamic range provides players with enough versatility to use this pedal with a variety of different instruments - basses, guitars, electric mandolins, keyboards - the NSG can handle anything thrown its way.
All packed up into a compact, space-saving enclosure, the Darkglass NSG is the ultimate solution for noisy signal chains.
