Description
An Emery Sound Custom Stereo 8 boutique tube amp head. This amp not a standard Emery model--most likely a custom one-off. On the chassis is written "1/99 #001, Klime Kovaceski Stereo 8", followed by a signature from Curt Emery. This is a true stereo amp, with dual single-ended, class A 8-watt amplifiers. A tube-swappers dream, the Stereo 8 has multiple bias settings for 3 different power tube types, plus switches for fixed/cathode bias, tube/solid state rectification, and negative feedback level. Our personal favorite combination is tube rectified, cathode-biased 6L6s. The head also features a switchable preamp gain boost. This amp has cleaned, tested, and is fully functional.
