Empress Effects' Compressor MKII is an update to the original pedal, first released back in 2011. The MKII version of the Compressor features an all-new "tilt" EQ/Tone control, and a selectable sidechain High Pass Filter that is built into the pedal's detection circuit. Plus, it's half the size as the original, making it incredibly pedalboard friendly, and with an all new sparkle finish. From its all-analog signal path, to its convenient size, to its wide-ranging controls (see features), the Compressor has everything you need for studio-grade compression effects.

-Power On Bypassed or Engaged - For musicians that never want to turn their compressor off.
-True Bypass - The Empress Compressor employs true bypass, so you can be sure that it's not affecting the signal when disengaged.
