Description

The Epiphone ES-345 Back to the Future in Sixties Cherry is a faithful tribute to one of cinema's most iconic guitars. Modeled after the ES-345 played by Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly in *Back to the Future*, this version nails both the look and the vibe of that famous "Johnny B. Goode" scene. It's a great fit for collectors, gigging musicians, or anyone who's after a vintage-style semi-hollowbody that captures a real moment in music and movie history.

At its core, this is a solidly built ES-345 with a 5-ply layered maple body and a solid maple centerblock for sustain and feedback resistance. A pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers provide a wide tonal range, and the addition of a Mono Varitone circuit adds extra versatility. You've got the right visual details here too-split parallelogram inlays, a Kalamazoo-style headstock, and gold hardware throughout. It even includes the Bigsby B70 vibrato, a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, and those era-correct stud placements from the film.

This ES-345 plays just as well as it looks. The rounded "C" profile neck is comfortable and familiar, while the rosewood board and jumbo frets make bending and chord work smooth and effortless. The Vartone and Bigsby give you room to explore sonically without sacrificing tuning stability. And yeah, we love that it ships in a vintage-style hardshell case complete with Marvin Berry and the Starlighters graphics. It's fun, but also totally functional. We think it's one of the coolest limited runs Epiphone's put out in a while.
