Every element of this guitar was meticulously designed to produce an exceptional sound. That's why ESP paid particular attention to their selection of woods. Pairing a stunning swamp ash body with a gorgeous roasted maple neck, this guitar projects a bright, snappy tone with a punchy mid-range and a tight low end. The neck on this guitar has received special appointments as well, sporting an ultra-comfortable Thin U profile that makes ripping solos and aggressive chording a breeze. And, for the high-register shredders out there, the fingerboard features upper scalloping beginning at the 17th fret, giving your playing a massive boost in articulation and clarity.
Powering the ESP LTD SN-1000HT is a set of high-output Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentient Humbucker pickups. Courtesy of its custom-wound coils and Alnico V magnet, the Pegasus pickup in the bridge position has a delightfully clear chime. The Sentient pickup in the neck position adds guts to your signal, producing a PAF-style sound with a tight low-end response and plenty of mid-range snarl. Blend these pickups together, and you'll be met with a laser-focused tone that works excellent for lead lines and well-defined chords.
Complete with a Hipshot string-through hardtail bridge and LTD locking tuners, this ESP LTD SN-1000HT has been fully spec'd to appease even the most critical of metal guitarists.
