Thanks to straightforward controls, it's easy to dial in - plus, you get the ability to load five presets at once (with corresponding LEDs), and more presets made available through the Eventide Device Manager (EDM) software. Plus, the UltraTap has a USB jack, a rear-mounted Guitar/Line Level switch, Stereo/Mono switch, and MIDI capability over TRS, plus an Expression pedal input, making it easy to use in a variety of different settings.
