Independent dual concentric gain and volume controls allow precise level matching across three channels, making it easy to dial in everything from sparkling cleans to tight crunch and expressive high gain leads.
Channel one produces pristine cleans with a smooth, slightly compressed response, while channel two moves into punchy overdrive and heavy gain. Channel three unleashes thick, liquid distortion with impressive sustain. Channels one and two share a three band EQ for low, mid, and high frequencies, each with dual concentric gain and volume controls, while channel three features its own dedicated EQ section. Global presence, resonance, and reverb controls provide additional tone shaping. The combo is loaded with a 12-inch custom designed EVH Celestion speaker, seven JJ ECC83 preamp tubes, two JJ EL34 power tubes, and a front panel adjustable power output that scales from 50 watts down to one watt for cranked tone at any volume.
Additional features include MIDI input, preamp output, effects loop, and a headphone jack that mutes the power amp for silent practice. The birch cabinet features special internal baffling for tight and enhanced bass response, and the amp is finished in a striking black and gold striped motif with black vintage-style chicken knobs.
