Description

This is the Fender American Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s Telecaster Custom in 3-Color Sunburst with a rosewood fretboard. It's made for players who want the feel and tone of a classic Custom Tele, but with the refinement and dependability you'd expect from a modern high-performance build. If you're a working guitarist, session player, or just someone who's always wanted that double-bound Tele look with zero compromises, this one's got the goods.

The alder body is finished in Heirloom nitro lacquer and features subtle contours that make it more comfortable than your average vintage-spec Tele. The quartersawn maple neck has a Modern "D" profile, stainless steel medium jumbo frets, and a compound radius rosewood board that plays smooth all the way up. The Pure Vintage '63 pickups give you a warm, round low end and a biting top that still sounds sweet-not harsh. Flip the S-1 switch, and you can run both pickups in series for a thicker, punchier tone that pushes your amp just right. It's a great tool if you want to move between articulate clean playing and more midrange-forward drive sounds without grabbing a second guitar.

The build quality here is dialed in. The contoured heel makes high fret access easy, and the locking tuners and 6-saddle Tele bridge keep things stable and intonated no matter how hard you play. This model has consistently impressed us-especially in how balanced and responsive it feels. If you're after a Telecaster with vintage roots but don't want to wrestle with vintage limitations, this is one of the most complete builds we've seen in a long time.
