This Fender Custom Shop guitar is a 2019 Limited Edition 1955 Stratocaster Vintage Custom. It features an NOS lacquer finish in Wide Fade Two Tone Sunburst, Closet Classic hardware, and a lightweight yet resonant 2-piece Select Ash body. The guitar's 1954 "U" neck shape has a substantial in-hand feel and is perfect for fans of "baseball bat" necks. It's highly playable, too, thanks to Medium Vintage 47095 frets and a 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius fingerboard. And with a trio of hand-wound Fat '50s single-coil pickups and Fat '50s wiring, you get authentic 1950s-era Fender tone, with a little extra depth, plus a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup. And with its period-accurate hardware, tinted neck, and lack of relicing, this Strat looks just like a '54 original would.
