Description
Designed with a boatload of vintage charm, the Fender Custom Shop 1958 Journeyman Relic Stratocaster embodies the soul of over 50 years of history in both look and sound. Built with a two-piece select alder body, this '58 Journeyman Relic comes equipped with three hand-wound Fat '50s single-coil pickups that carry the most classic of Stratocaster tones into the modern era with a little extra bass response, plus a reverse-wound, reverse polarity middle pickup for even more tonal variation. The guitar's rift-sawn maple neck features a '54 Soft "V" shape, Narrow Tall / 6105 frets, and the tonal integrity of a bone nut, as well. And thanks to a Faded Aged Lake Placid Blue finish, this '58 reissue's aesthetic package gives it the look of an original late-fifties Strat, with all the chips, dings, and minor surface scratches you would expect on a vintage instrument. Topped off with a nitro lacquer finish, this guitar will prove itself to be a staple in any player's arsenal with authentic in-hand feel and looks to prove it.
