Featuring a two-piece alder body, this Strat delivers that classic Fender spank with pronounced upper mids, bright highs, and loads of sustain. Its Journeyman Relic finish gives it a very accurate and authentic look, making it nearly indistinguishable from a well-loved, well-gigged vintage guitar. It sports an ultra-comfy '69 "U" shaped quartersawn maple neck which plays just like an old-school Fender - but better. With its compound 7.25" - 9.5" radius, it has a nice, rounded feel in first position for easy chording, but it flattens out as you enter the upper register, allowing for big bends and dexterous lead work.
Powering this beauty are three hand-wound Bone Tone pickups that offer plenty of sparkle and quack, but with a more full, multi-dimensional sound. Hooked up with Fat '50s half blender wiring, these single-coils deliver a pure, clean chime that doesn't lose any high-end when you roll down the volume. And, thanks to the reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup, this Strat is dead-silent when in positions 2 and 4.
