The 1959 "Transition" Stratocaster is an exciting Limited Edition Fender Custom Shop guitar. Its alder body was hand-selected for light weight, and connects to an uber-comfortable Rift Sawn Maple neck that features a large "C" profile - perfect for players who prefer a lighter body and a slightly thicker neck profile than your average Strat. The 7.25” to 9.5” compound radius fingerboard on the “Transition” Strat makes it truly play like a dream, and Medium Vintage frets will make you feel right at home like you’re playing a ’59 original. Speaking of which, it has all the dings, dents, nicks, and scratches you would expect from a 1959 Fender, with an authentically-relic’d body, neck, and hardware for a true vintage feel. You’ll really dig this guitar’s set of pickups as well: you get three Handwound Strat Fat ‘50s single-coils that deliver enhanced bass response in addition to the classic 1950s Strat tone players know and love, plus a reverse wound, reverse polarity middle pickup for more tonal versatility.
