Description
Fresh out of the Fender Custom Shop is the incredible Roasted Pine Double Esquire Relic! This guitar is based on the early-fifties Esquires, which were prototypes for what became the Telecaster. This guitar is far more than a reissue, though: it's got an eye-popping Wide Fade 2 Color Sunburst finish, a versatile, yet vintage-style pickup set, and top-notch attention to detail resulting in astounding playability. The 1950 Blackguard profile on the guitar's rift-sawn maple neck will make you feel right at home, with a "U" shaped feel, while its 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius ensures easy bending the farther you get up the fretboard. In addition, this Double Esquire's relic job gives it the look and feel of a true '50s original, and its pair of Handwound '50 to '51 Blackguard pickups dish out classic Telecaster tones with ease. All in all, this is an incredibly unique Tele-style guitar with a bold, audacious look and fantastic playability. You won't want to miss this exceptional Fender Custom Shop piece!
