Description
Built from a beautifully figured piece of lightweight ash and topped with a marvelously tiger-esque quilted top of tight-grained redwood, this Fender Custom Shop Telecaster boasts an extravagant aesthetic with a sound and feel to match. The tone woods and Twisted Tele pickups provide this guitar with a bit of extra midrange twang and a little extra warmth in the lows, and along with the usual set of controls, provide a fantastic range of tones. The mid ‘60s style oval “C” neck has been given a dark tint to better complement the rich, coffee-colored top, while matching dot inlays add brilliant contrast to the deep, rosewood fingerboard. Fender has also included their new RSD Telecaster bridge, which was actually inspired by the traditional bridge covers from decades past. With its angled saddles and new cut, this modern bridge provides superior intonation and a lower profile to boot. Complete with a knob-matching chrome switch tip, pearl-buttoned Schaller Deluxe tuning machines, and a tastefully light relic head to toe, this gorgeous Custom Shop will catch eyes and ears wherever it goes.
