Description

What Makes This Guitar Special: If you're looking for one of the best Stratocasters available on the market in a super cool color, let me stop you right here. This Eric Johnson offers the best of 50's styling, sound, and feel, but with modern technology perfection and reliability. This one in particular has had a professional relic'ing treatment done to a replacement Eric Johnson one piece quarter-sawn maple neck the previous owner preferred and installed. The guitar has been fully professionally set-up by the experts at Cream City Music and will arrive to you ready and raring to go.

Cosmetic Condition: A very clean guitar overall. There are a few very small chips in the body that can only be found upon close examination. The finish and hardware look great and this is not a guitar to pass up on. Most of the finish was intentionally removed from the back of the neck to give it a more worn-in look that is very comfortable to play.

Neck: The one piece quartersawn maple neck features a "soft V" profile and a walnut "skunk stripe" down the back. The vintage style staggered tuners work perfectly, the maple fingerboard features 21 frets with black dot inlays and black side-dot markers. The neck fills the hand in a way that's perfect for both chord work as well as running off on quick runs. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length; 12" radius fingerboard. The truss rod has been evaluated and is in perfect working condition, and the frets are in excellent condition with no wear.

Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Tropical Turquoise in ultra thin nitrocellulose lacquer. Vintage-style tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. Single ply white pickguard with parchment pickup covers and knobs give the guitar a great vintage vibe. The guitar weighs 7lbs 6.5oz.

Electronics: Custom wound Eric Johnson single coil pickups read 5.82K ohms at the neck, 6.22K ohms in the middle position, and 6.78K ohms at the bridge. Master volume & dual tone controls; 5-way selector switch. All electronics have been tested and function flawlessly.

Case: Original case and case candy included.
