The alder body and modern "C" roasted maple neck make this one comfortable and responsive. You get a 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, so bends feel smooth and chords stay clean across the neck. The pickups are really where this one punches above its weight-Texas Specials are hotter and more mid-focused than standard Player pickups, and pairing that unmistakable single-coil sound in the bridge with a humbucker in the neck makes this Tele far more versatile than you'd expect. It feels solid without being heavy, and the satin finish on the back of the neck makes longer sets or sessions a breeze.
