Class-A volume boost, versatile I/O, and easy tonal control combine to make Fishman's Platinum Stage one of the premier preamp pedals on the market. Volume, Mid Frequency, Bass, Treble, and Middle are the knobs that control the pedal. It works just as well with bass as it does guitar thanks to the EQ mode switch, and it works great in live settings thanks to a built-in belt buckle clip. The I/O of the Platinum is fully featured as well: with one 1/4" input and output, as well as an XLR Balanced D.I. output with Auto-Ground Lift. The boost control is actually located on the side of the knob as a dial, with each face of the dial being a 1dB increment. If you're looking for a boost/D.I. that's as easy to use on stage as in the studio, then this is the pedal for you.
