The Fulltone Full-Drive 3 builds on the well-loved FD2 platform but adds more flexibility, more clarity, and a slightly smaller footprint. With a JFET input and JFET op-amp, it leans into a tube-like response that feels smooth and touch-sensitive, making it a great fit for anything from clean boosts to pushed-overdrive tones. The three-way clipping switch gives you different voicing options-symmetrical for that classic mid-forward tone, wide asymmetrical for a more open sound with glassy highs, or Comp-Cut for raw op-amp gain without diode clipping. Add in a Dynamics knob that subtly limits harsh transients using a germanium circuit, and you've got a drive pedal that can stay musical across a variety of amps and guitars.
What really sets the FD3 apart is its two fully independent channels: an overdrive and a high-headroom boost, which can be reordered to suit your setup.
