Gibson continued to use Les Paul's name on these SGs through 1963. This Gibson Custom Shop reissue has an authentic "Les Paul" signature between the fretboard and neck pickup. And thanks to a stunning Polaris White finish, gold hardware, and a block-inlaid Ebony fingerboard, this reissue of the first SG is absolutely breathtaking. The guitar's Authentic '61 Thin Profile mahogany neck, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and Sibeways Vibrola tailpiece stay faithful to the sixties originals. Plus, CTS vintage-taper pots and Black Beauty capacitors bolster the guitar's three Custombucker pickups, so you get every bit of the Les Paul Custom/SG's powerful humbucking sound.
