This gorgeous guitar starts with a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body, giving it a crisp, dynamic tone with plenty of bite. It also features rounded cutaways that allow complete access to the upper frets and a SlimTaper neck profile scanned from the original, making it incredibly comfortable to play. And thanks to its Murphy Lab Heavy Aged finish treatment and aged hardware, this beauty looks and feels like a guitar that's been rockin' for decades.
Looks aren't all this ES-335 has to offer - fitted with a pair of unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups, this guitar delivers dead-on vintage PAF tones. Play delicately, and these pickups will sound full, clear, and responsive. Dig in, and they'll start to howl and bark, an excellent sound for leads and solos. Gibson also equipped this guitar with CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors that contribute to its wonderfully authentic sound.
