*Thanks to Cream City Music's close-knit relationship with Gibson Custom Shop, we've been able to get our hands on this stellar 1958 Les Paul Standard VOS with a Bolivian Rosewood fingerboard, which was previously a Sweetwater exclusive.*
Gibson Custom Shop's 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a faithful recreation of the originals' specs, complete with blistering pickups, authentic in-hand feel, and a light, tasteful relic job. This '58 reissue features a "Chunky C-Shape" neck profile, for an authentic fretting-hand feel. This is furthered by its Bolivian Rosewood, bone nut, hide glue fitted fingerboard and Medium Jumbo frets. This LP's Custombucker Alnico III pickups do a fantastic job of recreating the original late-fifties humbucking tone that made the Les Paul a household name. And with a gorgeous Iced Tea Burst Nitrocellulose VOS finish, its vintage patina is on full display. With all the hallmarks of a classic Les Paul, this Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard is as close as you can get to the original.
