The key difference here is the lightning bolt-style ridges cut into the top of the bar. These give each string a slightly different contact point, improving intonation across the board. Compared to a standard wraparound, which often struggles with compensation on the unwound G and low E, this design dials things in much closer. You still get the tonal benefits of solid contact between the strings and the body, but with more usable tuning up and down the neck.
