Plus, thanks to its SlimTaper neck and compound radius ebony fingerboard, you get a fast-playing, responsive feel across all parts of the neck. A new Modern contoured neck heel makes high-fret access easier than ever, while preserving sustain. Hardware upgrades include locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, clear top hat knobs, and an exceptional set of Burstbucker Pro Alnico V pickups. These humbuckers feature 4 push-pull pots to switch between humbucker and single-coil P90 sounds, giving the SG Modern a premium on tonal versatility. With its numerous player-friendly updates, the SG Modern is here for players who demand more out of their Gibson electric.
