Greer Amps' all-new Royal Velvet is an overdrive pedal with a classic British tone, and is an evolution of their SOMA63 overdrive. For the Royal Velvet, Greer took the transformer of the SOMA63, and changed the "loading" of the transformer to produce a more lively, sweeetened sound. If you love a Class-A British overdrive tone, then this is the perfect pedal to achieve that iconic sound. It stacks incredibly well with other gain pedals, has a simple three-knob interface, is true bypass, and is built with top quality components in Athen, Georgia, USA.
