Description

This is the Tennessee Rose model G6119-1962HT from Gretsch's Professional Collection. This guitar is built to the specs the original 1962 Tennessee Rose with just a few modern appointments yielding a guitar with great vintage style and modern functionality. The G6119-1962 features a "Zero" Fret, HiLo'Tron pickups, rocking bar bridge, and simulated F-Holes, all of which are 1962 period correct appointments designed in part by Chet Atkins himself. The body of a Tennessee Rose is a little smaller and thinner then the 6120 and Gent models making it a great choice for someone who does not favor such a large body design. The guitar is all Pro-series Gretsch with perfect playability, neck angle, and classic warm tones. The HiLo'Tron single coil pickups have a really nice snappy tone with excellent clarity and note definition. The neck pickup has a springy quality to it and the bridge pickup is very bright and punchy, approaching Esquire territory. They are relatively low output which yields a warm, woody tone from the guitar. We are a long standing, fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a B-Stock guitar and comes with the deluxe Gretsch hard case, all documentation and the Gretsch Limited lifetime warranty. If you have any questions at all please feel free to give us a call!

About B-Stock:

This is a “new old stock” B-stock Gretsch guitar. The guitar is essentially new with one minor cosmetic flaw. It has some small finish hazing on the body of the guitar. It is very light hazing. While it is most prominent on the back of the guitar, even then it is still very minor. The guitar weighs 7 lbs and the serial number is JT06095124, which dates the guitar to 2006. The guitar will ship as shown in the photographs with a complete professional setup and full factory warranty. Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions about this guitar.
