Description
This is the Gretsch G6121-1959 Chet Atkins Western Solid Body guitar. Unlike the name suggests, this guitar is actually mostly hollow with a heavily chambered mahogany body and authentic vintage style 3 ply laminate maple top. This construction yields the classic Gretsch Jet tone and makes the guitar very lightweight. The G6121-1959 is basically the solid body version of the G6120-1959LTV Nashville model. The voice of the guitar is clear and clean with excellent note definition and well defined bass response. The Filter'Tron pickups offer very low noise and sound fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well! This guitar is pure Gretsch quality with top notch fretwork providing the tremendous playability that the Gretsch Professional Collection is known for. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new factory first guitar and comes with the deluxe Gretsch hardshell case, all documentation and the Gretsch Limited lifetime warranty. If you have any questions at all please feel free to give us a call!
